On March 7, 2025, the Government issued Resolution no. 44/NQ-CP on visa exemption for citizens of 12 countries (Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland). This Resolution takes effect from March 15, 2025 to March 14, 2028 and will be considered for extension in accordance with Vietnamese law.

Accordingly, the Vietnamese Government exempts visas for citizens of the above countries, with a temporary stay duration of 45 days from the date of entry, regardless of passport type and entry purpose, on the basis of fully meeting the entry conditions as prescribed by Vietnamese law. Government Resolutions no. 32/NQ-CP dated March 15, 2022 and 128/NQ-CP dated August 14, 2023 expire from March 15, 2025./.
