I. THE 5th WORLDWIDE CONFERENCE OF OVERSEAS VIETNAMESE IN 2026 WITH THE THEME “OVERSEAS VIETNAMESE CONTRIBUTING TO ENHANCING NATIONAL SYNERGY”

1. Tentative Programme:

• 17 December 2026: Reception of delegates.
• 18 December 2026: Programme for the Delegation of Outstanding Overseas Vietnamese (approximately 60-70 delegates):
  • Morning: Paying tribute at the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh; meeting with leaders of the Party and State / the Central Committee of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front;
  • Afternoon: Networking activities and visits.
• 19 December 2026: Conference Programme:
  • Morning: Opening Session of the 5th Worldwide Conference of Overseas Vietnamese;
  • Afternoon: Thematic sessions and Closing Session. Three thematic sessions will take place concurrently with the following contents:
    • Thematic Session 1: Overseas Vietnamese promoting their role in developing the data economy and strategic technology sectors;
    • Thematic Session 2: Overseas Vietnamese promoting their role as “ambassadors of Vietnamese culture, the country and its people”, contributing to strengthening national unity, enhancing soft power and national prestige;
    • Thematic Session 3: Overseas Vietnamese promoting their role in expanding markets and distribution networks for Vietnamese products overseas and connecting with localities and businesses in Viet Nam.
  • Evening: Gala Dinner.
• 20 December 2026: Departure of delegates.

2. Venue: Expected to be in Ha Noi and several other localities.
3. Number of Delegates: Approximately 400 overseas Vietnamese delegates, 200 domestic delegates, and 400 online delegates.
4. Participants: Representatives of overseas Vietnamese associations and communities, including experts, intellectuals, entrepreneurs, and outstanding individuals in fields such as science and technology, investment and business, culture and the arts, Vietnamese language teaching and learning overseas, as well as leaders of Vietnamese associations, women’s associations, youth and student associations, hometown associations, and other organizations that have made significant contributions to community development, solidarity, youth and students, etc.
5. Expenses: The Organizing Committee will cover accommodation, meals and domestic transportation expenses for overseas Vietnamese delegates in accordance with the programme arranged by the Organizing Committee. Overseas Vietnamese delegates are responsible for their own round-trip airfare.

II. CONFERENCE OF OVERSEAS VIETNAMESE EXPERTS AND INTELLECTUALS JOINING HANDS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF DA NANG CITY

The “Conference of Overseas Vietnamese Experts and Intellectuals Joining Hands for the Development of Da Nang City” is an opportunity for experts, intellectuals and overseas Vietnamese delegates to exchange views, build connections and contribute to the development of the city.
1. Tentative Programme:

• 20 December 2026: Main Conference.
• 21 December 2026: Field visits to Da Nang Hi-Tech Park, Software Park No. 2 and other activities.

2. Number of Delegates: Approximately 60 overseas Vietnamese delegates, with priority given to delegates who register early.
3. Expenses: The Organizing Committee will provide overseas Vietnamese delegates with 01 night of accommodation in Da Nang, a reception dinner, 01 lunch, and transportation for activities under the programme. Overseas Vietnamese delegates are responsible for their own round-trip airfare.

The two conferences have separate programmes and registration procedures. For delegates wishing to attend both programmes, please complete both registration forms to facilitate the Organizing Committee’s consolidation of information and preparations for receiving the delegates.
